BB2/ITX optimizes operation in SBR reactor

In batch treatment of wastewater in SBR reactor, sludge content meter ITX can be used to control and control sludge content and sludge level.

During aerobic nitrification or anaerobic denitrification phase, the meter monitors that the sludge content is within the limits given for the process. By placing the sensor ITX at a fixed level in the reactor tank, it is ensured that the sedimentation phase stops at the correct sludge level and that decantation can be started more quickly without the risk of sludge escape.

BB2/ITX works both as a sludge content and sludge level meter.
